Treatment with anti-MCMV mAbs decreases expression of IFIT1 in the cochleae of MCMV infected mice. Expression of IFIT1, an interferon-stimulated gene, induced by viral infection at PNd4, 8, and 14 was quantified in individual cochlea as described in methods. Statistical analysis was performed by Kruskal-Wallis tests with a Dunn’s multiple comparisons post-test (^*P < 0.05, ^**P < 0.01, ^***P < 0.001, ^****P < 0.0001). All experimental groups were compared to mock infected mice (MOCK) with data presented as medians. Median values for MCMV and MCMV + mAb groups were statistically different at all time points (p < 0.05;Mann-Whitney test). For each experimental group at each time point, n = 2–12 mice (3–24 cochleae)
