Clinical indicators of systemic inflammation and remote organ dysfunction. a Changes in serum cytokine/chemokine levels were profiled in the naïve and trauma cohorts using a multianalyte MesoScale diagnostic profiling platform. b Serum chemical markers of end-organ damage were measured using a Heska Element DCX chemistry analyzer.
